HEROES Store | Heroes | SIU

The HEROES Store provides personal care, household, and school supply assistance to students experiencing basic needs and financial insecurity. Located in the basement of the Student Center, the Resource Center is available by appointment only.

To request assistance, complete the Requested Items Form. Students in need of assistance may request up to 20 basic needs supplies once every 60 days. Students will be contacted via email regarding approved items within two business days. A link will be provided to schedule an appointment no sooner than 2 business days after approval.

The HEROES program is pleased to meet the needs of struggling students to ensure their retention on campus. Resource Center items are made possible by grant-funding and donations, and are subject to availability. Some items require additional approval, are subject to limitations, and/or require a Loan Agreement.
